Cutting a curved corner in foam is one thing. Making a cover that follows every millimetre of that curve — with no bunching, no puckering, no shortcuts — is something else entirely. This is where our seamstresses demonstrate craftsmanship that most caravan mattress manufacturers cannot match.

Look closely at the corners on one of our Elddis mattresses and you will see the cover shaped and sewn to follow the exact contour of the cut. Most manufacturers use generic covers stretched over standard shapes. When they encounter a curved corner or an unusual angle, they compromise — either the cover bunches up at the edges, or they round off the shape to make it easier, or they simply refuse to make it at all. We do not compromise. If your Elddis has a complex corner radius, our seamstresses will sew a cover that fits that curve perfectly.
