Ordered a new mattress and we are very pleased with it. It was easy to place the order. It arrived within the timescale and was packaged in a way that made it easy to fit through the narrow caravan door and onto the bed frame. There was no horrid chemical smell when we unwrapped it and it quickly took its shape after being rolled so thin. We found it is incredibly comfortable and really happy with the product. We are discussing getting another one for the bed at home!

I have waited to leave this review because I wanted to sleep on the new mattress for at least two weeks before making a comment on it. I once ordered work boots on eBay and then left a glowing review because they felt so comfortable and were such a good fit. Then the fish glue that held them together slowly gave up and they fell to bits within three days. Once bitten, twice shy. Because the new mattress is a different type to the one that came with the caravan, it took a fair bit of getting used to, simply because it felt different and acted differently when laid upon. I'd slept in my caravan 500 times and it was eight years old when I bought it so I'd guess that people, including me, have spent at least 550 nights sleeping on the original mattress and it was, at 13 years old, well in need of replacement. I nervously measured up the size of the original and then measured it all again and used a computer to figure out if my measurements were even faintly correct, using geometry. Once I'd convinced myself that my measurements were correct, I sent my order off to Angelo and his team. I was a little nervous because it was a big investment and, if you've seen the movie "This Is Spinal Tap", one misunderstanding regarding measurements can have huge consequences. A week or so later, the new mattress arrived. I excitedly unpacked it in my living room at home to check it and it seemed to be good. NB: Please don't do this unless you have a very large pick-up truck like I have, wait and unpack your mattress in your caravan! I drove the 92 miles to my caravan with the new mattress safely in the back of my pick-up and, after much wrestling to get the old mattress out of the caravan and even more wrestling to get the new one in, I am happy to report that it fitted perfectly and has given me some of the best nights' sleep I've ever been blessed to have. I still find the feel and behaviour of the mattress a little strange but that is only because I've never had a mattress of this type before. We ordered by using the website, and paid direct, next day the company rang as we had made a sizing mistake so they could make the correct mattress. The mattress then arrived a week later, we popped it into our motorhome and let it open up. We had to test it out and 2 days later we did finding it even more comfortable than our bed in the house, we're even more looking forward to touring Spain this winter.

Can't give enough praise to the company. (our second review for this company), we requested some further alterations. The alterations done were amazing. We are in our 60’s and were finding that our original campervan mattress wasn’t giving us the support we needed for a good night’s sleep. We were even contemplating changing our van when we came across this company’s website. I ordered our mattress by phone and we received it 10 days later. It fits perfectly and we shall sleep on it for the first time tonight, it looks very well made and of excellent quality. I had ordered a 20 cm depth mattress but when it arrived it measured 15 cms. I emailed the company and they responded immediately apologising for the error, and they refunded the difference between the 2 depths straight away. I cannot fault their customer service and the depth of the mattress looks perfectly adequate. I would highly recommend this company.

We recently ordered a custom memory foam mattress for our caravan and are absolutely delighted with it! Being able to visit the showroom and choose the exact firmness we wanted was a huge plus. The mattress was made perfectly to the drawing we supplied, so it fits our caravan exactly. It’s incredibly comfortable and a big step up from our old one. One of the downsides of downsizing from a coach built motorhome to a factory built panel van is the comfort of the beds. This may not be the case if you are fortunate to have a drop down bed or a purpose made mattress, but in general, you are sleeping on your seats. I’ve tried 2 inch memory foam toppers without success and didn’t think I would ever get a really good nights sleep in our Campervan. My wife suggested we pay a visit to Caravan Mattresses in Birmingham to see if they could help. We made an appointment with Angelo and drove up to meet him with our Campervan. With a warm welcome, he demonstrated and I tried a number of mattresses in their showroom. Having selected a couple of options Angelo suggested I try them out in our Campervan. Wow, what a game changer, these turned a seat into a bed. After selecting my preferred option Angelo carefully measured a customised fit with cut outs to accommodate the van structure. As our van supports duel single beds, a purpose made fill was supplied for the longer bed, so that the mattress could be used on either side. The mattress supplements one of the existing seats/bed. We received an incredible personalised service, resulting in a top-notch product, that has transformed my sleep in our Campervan. Well worth a visit to Caravan Mattresses and a big thank you for this cost effective solution. Delivery didn’t take too long.

Really good company to deal with. Needed a Tri fold mattress for my campervan that was not a straightforward shape or design. These guys were super helpful and once the final design measurements were triple checked and confirmed it was made and delivered within 1 week. I went for the charcoal cover, 10cm depth with 3 layers of different foam, cool gel in the middle. The result is a very soft and comfortable mattress to sink into that folds back and out of the way. The quality of the mattress is excellent..... maybe even too good! We ordered what we considered to be the best caravan mattress within our budget, but to be honest, the comfort and support is amazing, so much so, we could have bought something less deep and still have enjoyed a fantastic night's sleep, without my wife having to take a run up to scramble up into the bed! (But she isn't the tallest person in the world!) The finish of our caravan mattress cannot be faulted and the fit is perfect..... thank you!

Well, after 10 weeks of an amazing trip that took us all the way to Sicily and round Sicily, we are now back home. Temperatures of 35 plus degrees became too much for all of us and so we headed back as the Italian schools broke up for holiday. And the mattress was an amazing success!!

Circumstances led to the order taking longer than quoted but the delay was handled well by the company.

Unsure what I needed so I telephoned direct and spoke to the salesman ( sorry forgot his name), and he was very polite and helpful. We ordered the 10inch memory foam mattress because we both have back trouble. We asked for delayed delivery and had it delivered direct to camp site on the day we arrived. Nothing was to much trouble for him. After three nights sleeping on it we are over the moon, what a fantastic mattress and perfect fit. I have just returned from a 3 week tour of France in my motorhome so was able to give my new topper a good test. I can say that it feels well-made, fits well, doesn’t move around on the mattress underneath and it didn’t feel too hot.
