The fibres are woven in a cross shape, which gives them more surface to pull damp away from you and let it dry off — faster than cotton or ordinary polyester manages. It's Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, and it unzips for the machine.

Cool-gel layer that carries the heat away (Revo®)
The trade calls this a cool gel foam. There is no gel in it — the foam is made with open cells, so the heat you give off moves away instead of gathering under you. In laboratory testing, thirty times more air moves through it than through a premium memory foam mattress. It's soft, cushions well, and springs back quicker than memory foam.
