The cool gel is encapsulated within the cover itself — a layer of gel stitched right into the zip-off cover, so the cooling and the cover are one and the same. It feels cool the moment you lie down and helps regulate temperature through the night, and because it's laboratory-proven 30× more breathable than standard memory foam, heat doesn't build up beneath you. Unzip the cover and the cool-gel layer lifts away with it for easy care.

We cut the foam to the exact dimensions you provide; the mattress cover then adds a small amount to the finished size.
If your bed sits in a tight recess, or you'd like room for tucking in bedding, we recommend reducing your measurements though this remains a personal preference.
