Cover with cool gel sealed inside (CoolGuard™)
The gel is stitched into the cover itself rather than sitting in a layer below it, so the cooling is right where you lie. It feels cool the moment you get in, and it keeps the heat moving away all night instead of letting it gather under you. Unzip the cover and the gel layer comes away with it.

Deep memory foam that moulds to you (Vasco®60)
It softens with your body heat and cradles your shoulders, hips and back, so the places that ache stop taking your weight. It soaks up movement too, so when one of you gets up in the night the other stays asleep.

Springy support layer that stops you sinking (Laytec™)
It sits under the memory foam, holds everything up and keeps your back in line. You get the deep cushioning on top without dropping too far into the bed.

A steady, hard-wearing base that lets air through and holds the mattress in shape year after year. It's what stops a dip forming where you lie, and it keeps the whole thing light enough to handle on your own.

Measuring Guide
We cut the foam to the exact dimensions you provide; the mattress cover then adds a centimetre or two to the finished size.
If your bed sits in a tight recess, or you'd like room for tucking in bedding, we recommend reducing your measurements though this remains a personal preference.

- Will I have to turn it?
- No. It's made to be slept on one side only, and that side is marked. Just turn it head-to-foot now and again.
- How do the memory foam and cooling work together?
- The memory foam takes the weight off your hips and shoulders; the gel in the cover carries the heat away. That's how you get the cradle of memory foam without the warmth that usually comes with it.
- What do the four layers do?
- Gel cover on top, then deep memory foam, then a springy layer that keeps your back in line, over a firm base. The top two cushion you; the bottom two stop you sinking.
- How long does a rolled mattress take to expand?
- An hour or two to take shape. Give it a day before you judge it.

- Is the Firm option too hard for every night?
- No. Firm gives you more support underneath while the memory foam still cushions the top, so it stays comfortable whichever way you sleep.
