The Swift Charisma range offers several distinct bed configurations across different model numbers and production years. The front lounge makes up into a double bed in the conventional way, with slats withdrawn from under the centre chest and pulled toward the foot of the bed to support the centre area, then the sprung cushions form a double bed across the van with the centre section infilled by the seat backs.
The most common layout across the Charisma range features a fixed double bed on the nearside of the caravan in front of the bathroom. The Swift layout has the twin settee lounge at the front, kitchen opposite the entrance, and toilet/shower cubicle at the rear on the driver's side with the permanent double bed alongside.
Several Charisma models feature French bed configurations. The fixed French bed comes with overhead lockers, a corner wardrobe and access through to your full width end washroom. The fixed french bed is to the offside of the rear of the caravan and is a very popular layout with a large amount of under bed storage available. French bed layouts are available in the Charisma 535, 550, 555 and odels.
Island bed configurations also appear within the range. A top of the range 4 berth Swift Charisma caravan features the popular 4 berth fixed island bed layout, with a large fixed island bed at the rear of the caravan that lifts up on dampers to provide plenty of storage below.
The Charisma 625 offers a six-berth twin axle configuration. The front lounge converts to a comfortable double bed, central dinette converts to double bed, with a rear fixed double French bed.
Some models feature unique arrangements. The 545 has a U-shaped dining area backing onto the nearside, and the central dining area makes into a bed by removing the single leg table and placing it between the fore and aft settees to create a double bed.
The Charisma 565 provides six-berth accommodation with the end bedroom featuring triple bunks, side dinette area that turns into another single bed, and the front sofas turning into a large double bed.
Regarding mattress shapes, the bed configurations vary between traditional rectangular layouts and shaped variants. These fitted sheets have a fully elasticated edge to ensure a snug fit that won't ride up or bunch in the night, whether your mattress is flat, shaped, or hinged. Diagonal corners can be cut to fit popular models with french beds.
We hold exact dimensions on file for three variants of Swift Charisma mattresses, which means no measuring is needed for those specific configurations. Find your specific Charisma model number in the table below to get started.

Measurement guide
How to measure your new mattress
We cut the foam to the exact size you enter
The measurements you enter are the measurements we cut. The cover then adds up to a centimetre or two on top. So the finished mattress comes out a little bigger than the size you enter.
Want room to tuck your sheets in? Or a little wiggle room to get it in and out? Take a few centimetres off before you enter your size.
Ordering the Grand Crescent? Its sides are fairly padded. So it measures a centimetre or two longer and wider than the size you enter. Remember to knock a couple of centimetres off the length and width for a snug fit.
Two & three piece mattresses
Some mattresses are made in two or three separate pieces. Each piece has its own cover. That means more edges wrapped in fabric than a single mattress has. All that fabric adds up across the pieces. So a two or three piece mattress comes out a little bigger than the size you enter. Going into a tight space? Take a couple of centimetres off to be safe.
How to measure your bed frame
If the mattress sits inside a frame
Measure inside the frame, edge to edge. Then take 2cm off the width and 2cm off the length. Enter those smaller numbers. This leaves a small gap all round. The mattress drops in easily, and you can tuck your sheets under. Want more room? Take 3cm off instead.
Example: a frame measuring 155 × 203 inside → enter 153 × 201.
If the mattress sits on top of a base
Is your mattress on a divan, with nothing around it? Then enter your exact size. Nothing is boxing it in. So the extra centimetre or two from the cover makes no difference.
How thick?
If nothing is stopping you, we suggest about 20cm (8 inches). That gives the best mix of comfort and support. Need it thinner? Choose a firmer feel, so it still supports you well. Not sure? Just ask.
